Here you will find solid, home-style and delicious Austrian cuisine.

Depending on the season, we serve our guests different regional specialities:

  • From the beginning of autumn until spring we offer traditional Styrian home-made delicacies (= Schmankerln), such as
  • various kinds of sausages: blood sausages, buckwheat sausages, smoked sausages and, of course, traditional bratwurst
  • roast pork with sauerkraut and dumplings
  • Bauernschmaus (= traditional Austrian dish) with home-made smoked meat
  • ...and many more
  • As Wednesday is a slaughtering day, every Wednesday from autumn until Easter we serve Bluttommerl (oven baked dish with blood) and Klachlsuppe (soup of pork knuckle, vegetables and spices) with Haidensterz (cooked buckwheat flour)
  • Martinigansl (roasted goose) with red cabbage, bacon lentils, dumplings, chestnuts
  • Game dishes
  • In winter, we heartily invite you to hold your Christmas party at our inn with a menu of your choice
  • In spring, it is time to indulge yourself with our delicious low-fat meals of fish, pasta, wild garlic and asparagus
  • Throughout the year, we offer 3 daily menus from Monday to Friday

There are many other dishes we would be happy to cook for you like roast chicken with seasoning or stuffed roast chicken, if ordered in advance.
